Combination Skin Care Basics

Combination skin care is dealing with a skin type that generates both oily and dry skin.
The most distinguishing aspect of combination skin is the presence of an oily T-zone, basically comprising of the forehead, nose and chin.
Quite often the rest of the facial area has dry characteristics and sometimes can be sensitive, due to the affected oily areas.
To care for combination skin, the most important thing you need to do is to follow a regular cleansing regimen. The dry areas should be wiped with a light rehydrant gel, with a moist cotton wool. Meanwhile, a medicated soap should be applied on the oily areas and rinsed off with water. In the areas which are prone to blackheads, rub a mixture of beauty grains and skin tonic twice to three times a week.
If you have a combination skin, use a good night care regimen. This should basically include a light massage with a nourishing cream on the dry regions. To end, cleanse and massage neck and apply a gentle almond eye-cream for any dark under eye circles.
Combination skin still needs moisturizing. Many people feel as though they have too much ‘moisture’ on their skin, but do not neglect this important step. Caring for combination skin is not as difficult as some may think. A little bit of attention paid to problem areas is all that is required.

Mother Nature’s Skin Care
Mother Nature has been kind enough to present us with an endless bounty of wonderful herbs.
She has also supplied us with plants and other natural products to help us with our skin care regimen and also to counteract the side effects of the harmful chemical products.
To get the most out of the herbal heritage, you should know how exactly to use these products and also which products will suit your skin type the most.
For instance, to use turmeric in your face packs, it is always advisable to use it in the finely ground and powdered form, done at home.
Similarly, you can also use honey to moisturize your skin on a regular basis. Honey has been used for centuries for moisturizing the skin and healing the skin.
(I will guarantee the benefits and uses of honey 100%. If you can get your honey direct from a beekeeper then all the better!)
In addition, a preparation of jasmine, lavender, oil of black rose and Fuller’s earth has long been used as a natural pack for skin tightening.
A combination of gram flour and wheat husk is also used for the purpose of cleansing, especially for oily skin.
