Many people enjoy a glass of wine or a cocktail and drinking in moderation should not be a problem for those worried about the aging process. People who drink excessive amounts of alcohol should cut down if they want to slow or reverse this aging process. Many people do not get enough rest and a good sleep every night will help people slow or reverse the aging process. People should try to get at least eight hours of sleep every night.
A great lifestyle can make a significant difference to people as they age. Hopefully, all people begin with good habits when they are very young, but it is never too late to change your lifestyle. A healthy nutritious diet can make people feel and look younger. People should avoid fatty foods and include whole grains, fruits, vegetables and fish. It is a great idea to take vitamin supplements, just in case they do not get all of the important nutrients on a daily basis. People should also try to maintain a healthy weight. There is plenty of information on the appropriate weight for each person and they should check and use these figures.
Exercise is important to slow or reverse the aging process. People should try to exercise for thirty minutes at least three or four days a week and more exercise would be even better. Stress can take a big toll on the human psyche and physical well being of each person. People should work to eliminate stress from their lives and they will look and feel better. Eliminating stress should produce a positive outlook on life which will mean a better quality of life.

Dry Skin Products
If the skin around your eyes and lips is patchy, dull and flaky, then you probably have dry skin. Flaky and dull skin all over is also an indication of dry skin. With dry skin you should avoid using soap on your skin, particularly on your face. Dry skin becomes worse during winter and cold weather and maintaining healthy moisture becomes difficult as you age.
Never have hot shower or baths, as the hot water strips your body of natural oils. Lukewarm showers for ten minutes or less, are best for a person with dry skin. Moisturizing soaps are the best skin care product for your whole body; avoid regular soaps, as these are too harsh. Always moisturize your skin and blot or pat dry your face, instead of vigorously rubbing with a towel. Toners are not the best skin care products for a person with dry skin, as the alcohol dries your skin too much.
Oily Skin Products
Oily skin is extra prone to blemishes and pimples, due to the build up of excess sebum in the skin. The best skin care product for oily skin in terms of cleansers is a deep cleansing formula. A deep cleansing skin product will help keep excess oil in check and help prevent pimples and blemishes. Toners are also the best skin care products to use when you have oily skin. Toners will help to deep cleanse and eliminate black heads and blemishes that mar perfect skin. Another thing to keep in mind when you have oily skin is to use a light moisturizer that is oil free. This is very important, otherwise your complexion will feel greasy and you will have a shiny face.
